Honey BBQ Sauce Recipe

  • Large Saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Non-stick Spatula
  • Air-tight Container or Jar for storage


  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  • In a large saucepan, combine ketchup, vinegar, and honey over Medium heat.
  • Slowly pour in your sugar.
  • Add seasonings.
  • Continue to cook over Medium heat until sauce comes to a slow boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer on Low for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool at room temperature.
